Collection and Disposal of Wastes Regulation, Man Reg 321/88 R

This regulation requires that the owner, occupier, or user of any premises shall maintain the premises in a sanitary fashion as well as prevent the deposit of waste onto other premises or public property without a permit. These regulations state that general trade and industrial waste must be handled in a way that is approved by the medical officer of health and that the type, location, construction, installation, venting, and waste disposal method of a chemical toilet must be approved by the medical officer of health. The medical officer of health may direct any change, alteration, removal, relocation, or cessation of use of a chemical toilet if it is proven detrimental to health.
