Metro Vancouver Liquid Waste Management Plan

The goals of the Metro Vancouver Liquid Waste Management Plan are: (1) to protect public health and the environment through the provision of wastewater collection and treatment services; (2) to use liquid waste as a resource through the formation of biogas generated in the treatment process; and (3) to enable effective, affordable and collaborative management through monitoring, maintaining and investing in liquid waste infrastructure. These goals will be achieved in a cost-effective and sustainable way.
