X-Ray Safety Regulation, Man Reg 341/88 R

This regulation establishes safety standards around the use of x-ray equipment. The regulation states that x-ray equipment shall be designed and used so that no person other than the patient is likely to be exposed to ionizing radiation in excess of dose set out in schedule attached to the regulation. The owner of the equipment must organize its use and work area to ensure that an x-ray worker or others in vicinity do not receive excessive dose.
