2024-25 Annual report

2024-25 Year in review

A systems view grounded in the cancer journey

This year’s annual report reflects the breadth of the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer’s (CPAC) work across the cancer continuum. Our journey begins with population-level prevention efforts, moving through early detection, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship and palliative care – while integrating collaborative work with First Nations, Inuit and Métis partners to advance culturally safer cancer care throughout each stage. This pathway is built upon a foundation of equity-driven performance and shared accountability that drives lasting improvements across jurisdictions.

Presenting our recent achievements in this way enables us to highlight how targeted initiatives at each stage contribute to broader system transformation. It also shows how coordinated action across jurisdictions and partners can lead to better outcomes, particularly for equity-denied populations.

Looking ahead

In the coming year, CPAC will deepen its focus on eliminating barriers to high-quality cancer care, accelerating progress in areas where momentum has been building.
