The 2017 Cancer System Performance Report, released in June 2017, is the eighth report on the overall performance of cancer control in Canada. System performance indicators show how well the system is providing high quality, equitable, seamless and sustainable cancer care, using indicator results to tell a comprehensive story about Canada’s cancer system. These themes are aligned with the Partnership’s 2017-22 Strategic Plan. In particular, the report includes updated indicators on cancer incidence and indicators that reflect the equity theme. This report also highlights opportunities to maximize the impact of data in order to stimulate discussions around ways to promote change in the system.
