Partnership wins public service leadership award for Cancer View Canada

The Partnership’s portal was honoured with a bronze award at the Public Sector Leadership Awards ceremony held in Toronto today.

The awards, sponsored by the Institute of Public Administration of Canada and Deloitte, recognize “organizations that have demonstrated outstanding leadership by taking bold steps to improve Canada, through advancements in public policy and management.”

“We know that our newly launched online community – Cancer View Canada €– will enable collaboration and knowledge transfer within the cancer community,” said Partnership CEO Jessica Hill. “We are very pleased that the Institute has recognized this initiative.”

Cancer View Canada showcases information and resources on its public sections as well as providing password protected collaboration spaces for people working in cancer control.
