Le taux de d\u00e9tection de cancers lors du d\u00e9pistage est influenc\u00e9 par plusieurs facteurs, notamment l\u2019\u00e2ge, la pr\u00e9valence, la modalit\u00e9 de d\u00e9pistage utilis\u00e9e, l\u2019intervalle de d\u00e9pistage et l\u2019intervalle diagnostique. Les taux de d\u00e9tection de cancers ne doivent pas \u00eatre interpr\u00e9t\u00e9s isol\u00e9ment. Ils fournissent des renseignements importants lorsqu\u2019ils sont pris en compte avec le taux de d\u00e9tection de cancers post\u00e9rieurement au d\u00e9pistage, le taux de rappel pour anomalie et le taux sous-jacent de cancer du sein dans la population admissible.<\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9pistage du cancer du sein d\u00e9tecte \u00e0 la fois les carcinomes canalaires in situ (CCIS) et les cancers infiltrants. Un CCIS, une anomalie non infiltrante de la muqueuse du canal mammaire, a une probabilit\u00e9 variable de devenir infiltrant<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>D\u00e9finition de
