Digital transformation

What you need to know about the Partnership’s digital re-design efforts.

We’re changing our websites!

What you need to know about the Partnership’s digital transformation efforts

To help us meet our goal of becoming Canada’s destination for evidence-based cancer control information, we’re consolidating a number of our websites including cancerview.ca and partnershipagainstcancer.ca. We’re updating content from cancerview.ca and moving it to a new and improved version of partnershipagainstcancer.ca. Cancerview.ca will be fully accessible during the transition, but once the content migration is complete, that site will no longer be available.

Why are we making changes?

We’re making improvements to the Partnership’s digital experience based on feedback from people like you. Consolidating our key websites will help people working in the Canadian cancer control community to more easily find the information, resources and tools they’re looking for, as well as related content.

The new site design is:

  • user friendly
  • built with digital best practices in mind
  • equipped to help you better find the information you are looking for
  • viewable on all devices

It also follows best practices in accessibility, privacy and security. We’re excited about the changes, and we think you will be, too.

Who is the new site designed for?

The new partnershipagainstcancer.ca will provide evidence-based knowledge, thought leadership, tool and resources for our target audiences: policy specialists, health system administrators, health care professionals and researchers.

For patients and members of the public

As a part of our digital transformation we are working to create an area within the site dedicated for patient engagement – stay tuned for its release.  In the meantime, for information about cancer treatment and support for patients, please continue to contact the Canadian Cancer Society at 1-888-939-3333 or by completing this online form.

What’s new?

We’ve redesigned and migrated this important digital tool. It has been optimized for easy searching and browsing of policies.

Formally known as the Standards and Guidelines Evidence (SAGE) directory, this searchable database has also been redesigned and now includes updated records.

  • Website navigation

We have updated the site’s navigation and applied tags to help you find the content you are searching for. We are also using an in-page navigation structure to better allow us to profile content that might be of interest to you!
