ACR Appropriateness Criteria Imaging of Mediastinal Masses

This is a clinical practice guideline for patients with a clinically suspected mediastinal mass. The guideline provides recommendations for radiological imaging in these patients, for the purposes of initial imaging, as well as further imaging and surveillance of indeterminate mediastinal masses. Imaging modalities discussed include magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound (US).
