A clinical practice guideline for the management of adult onset sarcoma. The guideline examines the diagnosis, staging, treatment, and follow-up options for sarcoma. Imaging modalities for the purpose of diagnosis and staging are compared, while the importance of multidisciplinary care and the effects of delayed referrals to specialists are discussed. In addition, pre-operative and post-operative radiotherapy are compared, and the guideline also examines adjuvant and systemic chemotherapy, as well as surgical procedures.
