A clinical practice guideline for the treatment of actinic keratosis and cheilitis as precursors to invasive squamous cell carcinomas. The guideline examines treatment options including surgical and topical removal, and considers the use of combined modalities. There is also specific information for the monitoring and treatment of long-term immunosuppressed patients. Outcomes of interest include improved cosmetic results through the use of topical methods.
