Screening for Lung Cancer: U.S. Preventive Services Task Force Recommendation Statement

A clinical practice guideline for lung cancer screening in asymptomatic adults aged 55 to 80 years who are current smokers or have a past smoking history. The guideline updates previous recommendations on the use of low-dose computed tomography, chest radiography, and sputum cytologic evaluation screening methods, and also provides recommendations on smoking cessation.
