New online community for cancer control at www.cancerview.ca

July 8, 2009 — Launched today by the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, Cancer View Canada is an ever-evolving online community and work space that links users to cancer services, information and resources across the country.

By showcasing and simplifying the process of accessing and sharing high-quality cancer information, Cancer View Canada supports helpful linkages among people personally affected by cancer, as well as providing a place for collaboration by professionals working in cancer control.

Beyond expanding access to cancer resources, the portal harnesses the full value of this information – and the expertise behind it – by allowing users to search, to analyze and to organize the data. For professionals, this enhanced analytical capacity can significantly advance the starting point for a multitude of projects in cancer control.
