Gary Semenchuck

Gary Semenchuck is past Chair of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency’s board of directors. He was the National President for the Canadian Cancer Society from 2000 to 2002, as well as the President of the Saskatchewan division of the Canadian Cancer Society from 1996 to 1998.

Mr. Semenchuck is a member of the Regina Qu’Appelle Regional Health Authority. He is a member of the K40 Club of Regina and the past governor of Kinsmen Clubs in Saskatchewan. He has been a member of the University of Regina senate.

Mr. Semenchuck has more than 40 years’ experience as a lawyer, representing insurers, corporate and commercial clients, and individuals with a variety of legal issues. He is a seasoned civil litigator at all court levels, from trial through appeal, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Mr. Semenchuck has also served on numerous arbitration boards as a single arbitrator or as a member or chair of the arbitration board.

Mr. Semenchuck was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1983. He lives in Regina.
