Bruce Cooper

Bruce Cooper is the Deputy Minister in the Department of Health and Community Services with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Prior to his current role, Bruce held several other senior executive leadership positions in the public, health and non-profit sectors including Assistant Deputy Minister roles in the Province’s Labour Relations Agency, Departments of Child, Youth and Family Services and Health and Community Services. Bruce is also a former Executive Director with Health and Community Services – St. John’s Region, and Executive Director and Registrar of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Social  Workers.

Bruce holds a Bachelor and Masters of Social Work from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
