Chair, System Performance and Quality Initiatives Advisory Committee

Terry Sullivan chairs the Partnership’s System Performance and Quality Initiatives Advisory Committee. In this role, he provides high-level consultative advice on behalf of the advisory committee to support the development of strategic directions with the Partnership’s senior management team and the Board of Directors.

Dr. Sullivan previously served as the president and CEO of Cancer Care Ontario for seven years and was the president of the Institute for Work & Health. Dr. Sullivan was also a member of the Partnership’s Board of Directors from 2007-2010 and continues to serve as Chair of the Research Advisory Committee for Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and Chair, Science Council, Ontario Health Study.

Dr. Sullivan is a behavioural scientist and holds a doctorate in Sociology from York University as well as a Masters of Arts degree in Psychology from Queen’s University. Dr. Sullivan has held faculty positions at the University of Toronto in the departments of Health Policy Management and Evaluation and Public Health Sciences.
