Chair, Surveillance Advisory Group
Dr. Jim Brierley is taking on the role of Chair, Surveillance Advisory Group for the remainder of this fiscal year. He will work closely with Partnership senior management to provide leadership and guidance on our work in surveillance, and engage with the surveillance community on priority issues. Dr. Brierley has been a member of the Surveillance Advisory Group since its inception and has made extensive contributions to the portfolio. He has also chaired the Partnership’s Staging Committee, providing guidance to the National Staging Initiative, for the last several years. Dr. Brierley is a Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto, Princess Margaret Hospital, and Stage Project Lead at Cancer Care Ontario. Dr. Brierley obtained his medical degree from Westminster Medical School, University of London.
